2023 - a Gold in East Midlands in Bloom and in Britain in Bloom. Our Lead Gardener/Chair Barbara Tallis was given a Britain in Bloom Community Champion award.

2022 - a Gold in East Midlands in Bloom and also came first in the Large Town category. MHiB was invited to enter Britain in Bloom.

​

2021- a Gold was awarded. Plus:

​

 - a special Judges Award for Welland Park Wildflower garden and a Judges award for St Lukes Hospital garden.

​

2020 - there was no competition.

 

2019  - a Gold was awarded. Plus:

 

- a Judges Award was given to the Church of England Academy for the development of a wildlife oasis.

- Gold awards to Stamps and The Three Swans

 

2018 - a Gold was awarded. Plus:

 - an award for the least littered environment in the East Midlands

- a glass bowl for the Winner of the Best Park in the East Midlands

- a judges award for the installation of the In Bloom telephone box

 

The Cof E school in Fairfield Rd won a Gold award and the best wildlife garden category. [they enter separately]

2017 - a Gold was awarded. Plus:

- Best school garden award - Silver Gilt + Judges award to Church of England Academy for the Peace Garden, planters, pond and natural area.

- Best Hotel/Pub garden or display The Three Swans Hotel Gold
